Cape Town Paragliding
Cape Town offers a number of aerial activities, sky diving, ziplining, and paragliding, with the latter the most common used launch site is Lions Head and Signal Hill.
Both are adjacent to Table Mountain, the launch side is decided on the day before based on the wind direction. The views that can be gained from either of these launch sites is nothing less than staggering - Its like looking out of Gods Window!
Below is a list of sites in and around Cape Town - Signal Hill and Lions head are our preferred launch site as you get to fly along the a beautiful coast line, catch sight of the Twelve Apostle and the landing and the collection point is on Sea Point promenade.
Paragliding is an aerial adrenaline sport activity in which people fly in the air using a paraglider. These paragliders are light in weight and are normally foot launched. There is a harness in the glider on which the paraglider sits. This harness is interconnected to the glider with baffled cells.
Prices vairy from operator to operator, we only use 2 operators that we know who operate to the highest safety levels, have experienced pilots and use well maintained equipment.
